Few Bastard rich individuals monopolize the wealth of world population

Few Bastard rich individuals monopolize the wealth of world population

Have you noticed we are not all rich and wealthy? Seven billions of us minus three hundred individuals? Most of world population of the seven billions that breathe oxygen are adversely poor, poor, normally poor, less poor just on the border of survival, few middle strata, and rich bastards. The gap between rich and poor is extremely large and is widening every day in the world today. between individuals and states. Few rich tycoons suck the world’s blood. You are either rich or poor. Middle classes and strata are diminishing in favor of one or the other.

Three hundred inhuman Draculas monopolize the wealth of seven billions of humans. Three hundred wealthy billionaire bastards, like the Sultan of Brunei, King Saud, Sabah ruler in Kuwait, Karlos Slim Helo of Mexico, Bill Gates of US, Warren Buffet of US, Mukesh Ambani of India, Lakshmi Mittal of India, Lawrence Ellison of US, Bernard Arnalt of France, Eike batista of Brazil, Amanico Ortega of Spain, Kark Albrecht of Germany, Igvar Kampard of Sweden, Christy Walten of US, Stefan Persson of Sweden, Li Ka-Shing of Hong Kong, Jim Walten of US (wealth fork between 55-22 billions of US Dollars), not to forget the criminal Mafiosi Ben Ladden, to mention but a few. Poor things, they must feel sorry for the rest. What is left for the others, nothing, absolutely nothing. World population lives on the crumbles of rubbish. World populations in China, India, Bangladesh, Africa, Central America and 17% in the US live under the level of poverty, Latin America and in all the world humans are nothing but skeletons of humanity.

The rich bastards monopolize by theft the wealth and riches of the world, mourishing like cancerous parasites on the remains of humanity. These rich and wealthy bastards have made their fortunes by depriving world humanity of their rightful wealth, their rightful and legal bread and butter, their rightful and legal share in what God has provided for the whole world, the totality of mankind.

But only when these bastards are eliminated completely and dimolished once and for all and their wealth is taken away and distributed among their fellow humans in equity, creating jobs, care for the poor and the needy, hospitals and school, then and only,  justice is restored to its legitimate owners, the world population. For how these bastards amass their fortunes? It is by depriving the natural wealth that belongs to everyone.

These rich Draculas should be annihilated in one way or the other, the money hoarders of the wealth of humanity. They are the ones responsible for world famine, world poverty and world deprivation and the misery in every society.

There must be an international court that brings economic justice to its owner the peoples.

The twenty rich countries gather to give some saliva shit to the poor and needy in the world but the real problem is not this it is in the monopolization of wealth by individulas and states.

The Riddle of Latin America, 1st Edition

$56.49

THE RIDDLE OF LATIN AMERICA explores the promise and paradox of Latin America in a novel way by giving equal weight to the colonial and national periods. This is essential because in Latin America colonialism started early and independence came late. The aim of this book is to provide unfamiliar readers with a more balanced, interpretive view of Latin America’s long and complex history by identifying key patterns and trends and tracing them across time and space. Within chapters THE RIDDLE OF LATIN AMERICA takes a regional rather than country-by-country approach, treating, for example, the Greater Caribbean, Mexico and Central America, the Andes, the Southern Cone, and Brazil.

Globalization and Democracy in Latin America.

Globalization and Democracy in Latin America.

$115.71

We live in an increasingly globalized and interconnected world which poses research questions about how globalization affects our societies. A particular question that has been of interest to researchers around the globe for its implications for political economy and public policy is the relationship between globalization and democracy. However, the studies that have been carried out related to this question have focused on the analysis of aggregate level data. Different measures of globalization have been used with no consensus yet on the effect of globalization on democracy. The main contribution of the present study is to utilize microlevel data from the Latinobarometro survey to understand the effect of globalization on individuals attitudes toward democracy in Latin America. For this purpose, this study utilizes multilevel analysis which takes into account the fact that individuals are nested into countries modeling the heterogeneity that exists among countries alongside individual variance in attitudes. Results from best fitting models of different specifications of globalization indicate that globalization as measured by an instrumental variable of trade has a positive and significant effect on satisfaction with democracy; however, other specifications of globalization i.e. foreign direct investment and capital flows do not. Further, interesting findings regarding economic, political and institutional factors are discussed. Author: Tello Rodriguez, Osvaldo S. Keeping The Promise Of Social Security In Latin America

Keeping The Promise Of Social Security In Latin America

$17.39

Empirical analysis of two decades of pioneering pension and social security reform in Latin America and the Caribbean shows that much has been achieved, but that critical challenges remain. In tackling this unfinished agenda, a great deal can be learned from the reform experience of countries in the region. Keeping the Promise, produced by the chief economist’s office in the Latin America and Caribbean Region at the World Bank, evaluates policy reforms in 12 countries, points to successes and shortcomings, and proposes priorities and options for future reform. "Keeping the Promise provides a timely assessment of two decades of pension reform experience with a wealth of new data, and empirical evaluation of reformed social security systems. Many economists and policymakers will not be persuaded by some of the main conclusions and recommendations such as the supposed failure to increase coverage, and the call for strengthening a pay-as-you-go defined-benefit scheme for poverty prevention but they will welcome the book's critical appraisal. This is required reading for pension specialists and policymakers in Latin America and beyond." Klaus Schmidt-Hebbel, Chief of Economic Research, Central Bank of Chile "A heavyweight analysis of the Latin American pension revolution which raises important questions about the optimal scale of compulsory saving when redesigning pension systems." Paul Wallace, The Economist

Praise for the Previous Edition”Skillfully structured, well written and highly stimulating.” Journal of Population Research”A Concise History of World Population is noted for its clarity and depth, as Livi-Bacci transfers complicated ideas to the page in cogent and well-defined terms, speaking to his readers in a style that inspires deeper introspection of a subject that will affect them long after they have left the classroom.” The Electric ReviewSince its original publication in 1992, this text has established itself as the standard history of world population. An Account of the Antiquities of the Indians

An Account of the Antiquities of the Indians

$18.95

Translated by Susan C. Griswold Foreword by Neil Whitehead With Columbus on his second voyage to the New World in 1494 was a young friar named Ramon Pane. The friar’s assignment was to live among the “Indians” whom Columbus had “discovered” on the island of Hispaniola and to learn their language and write a record of their lives and beliefs. The culture of these Indians is now extinct-the native population had all but disappeared by 1530-and the material remnants of their society have only in the last year been “rediscovered” at locations in Cuba and the Dominican Republic. The written record produced by Pane, however, has survived and is now, for the first time, being published in English as an independent text in its own right, complete with the latest anthropological research on these early people.Edited by the noted Hispanist Jose Juan Arrom, this current edition is the only surviving direct source of information about the myths, ceremonies, and lives of the New World inhabitants whom Columbus first encountered. Pane’s pioneering account contains many linguistic and cultural observations: descriptions of the Indians’ healing rituals and their beliefs about their souls after death. He provides the first known account of the use of tobacco and recounts the use of idols in ritual ceremonies. The names, functions, and attributes of native gods, the mythological origin of the aboriginal people’s attitudes toward sex and gender, and their rich stories of creation are described as well.Pane’s account of a culture rendered extinct by his own countrymen is not only unique, but valuable. With this new edition, his remarkable examination of an indigenous people will enlighten English-speaking students of history, Latin America, and anthropology.

Beyond Bogota: Diary of a Drug War Journalist in Colombia

Beyond Bogota: Diary of a Drug War Journalist in Colombia

$15.95

Independent journalist Garry Leech has spent the last eight years working in the most remote and dangerous regions of Colombia, uncovering the unofficial stories of people living in conflict zones. Beyond Bogotá is framed around the eleven hours that Leech was held captive by the FARC, Colombia’s largest leftist guerrilla group, in August of 2006. He recalls nearly thirty years of travel and work in Latin America while weaving in a historical context of the region and on-the-ground reporting with each passing hour of his detention.More than $5 billion in U.S. aid over the past seven years has failed to end Colombia’s civil conflict or reduce cocaine production. Leech finds that ordinary Colombians, not drug lords, have suffered the most and that peasants and indigenous peoples have been caught in the crossfire between the armed groups. Meanwhile, more than thirty Colombian journalists have been murdered over the last three decades, making Colombia one of the most dangerous countries in which to practice journalism. Consequently, the majority of the Western media rarely leave Bogotá to find the real story. Leech, however, learns the truth about the conflict and the U.S. war on drugs directly from the source: poor coca farmers whose fields and food crops have been sprayed with toxic aerial fumigations, female FARC guerrillas who see armed struggle as their only option, union organizers whose lives are threatened because they defend workers’ rights, indigenous peoples whose communities have been forcibly displaced by the violence, and many others. Leech also investigates the presence of multinational oil and mining companies in Colombia by gaining access to army bases where U.S. soldiers train Colombian troops to fight the guerrillas in resource-rich regions and by visiting local villages to learn what the foreign presence has meant for the vast majority of the population. Drawing on unprecedented access to soldiers, guerrillas,

Beyond the City: The Rural Contribution to Development

Beyond the City: The Rural Contribution to Development

$28

In Latin American and Caribbean history, rural societies have been at the center of both the origins of prosperity and of social upheaval. Rural communities have access to a wealth of natural resources, including arable land and forests, yet they face the highest poverty rates within countries. Characterized by low population densities and located far from the major urban centers, rural communities must overcome severe restrictions in their access to public services and private markets, even in some countries where public expenditures per inhabitant are higher in rural than in urban communities.’Beyond the City’ evaluates the contribution of rural development and policies to growth, poverty alleviation, and environmental degradation in the rest of the economy, as well as in the rural space. This title brings together new theoretical and empirical treatments of the links between rural and national development. New findings and are combined with existing literature to enhance our understanding of the how rural economic activities contribute to various aspects of national development. The study is based on original research funded by the World Bank’s Office of the Chief Economist for Latin America and the Caribbean. Of particular relevance is the interaction between agricultural and territorial development issues. The empirical findings also make substantial contributions to the debate over the appropriate design of public policies aiming to enhance the rural contribution to national development, including economic growth, poverty reduction, environmental sustainability, and macroeconomic stability.

Business Education In Emerging Market Economies

Business Education In Emerging Market Economies

$119

Business Education in Emerging Market Economies discusses the impact of business education on emerging markets and explores curricular innovation, pedagogical approaches, and strategic alliances in the context of industrializing economies. Emerging markets consist of eighty percent of the world’s population and some 75% of its trade growth in the foreseeable future according to the U.S. Department of Commerce. The potential economic growth of emerging markets has prompted a need to understand the dynamics of these markets, their business institutions, and their educational systems. Many universities in the United States of America, for example, have responded to the demand of their students and business constituents to educate them about these exciting opportunities and lurking threats in these industrializing economies. This book contains multiple chapters describing curricular innovations and course development designed to educate American students about emerging markets. The pressures of globalization and the recent economic reforms that swept across emerging, developing, and transitioning, economies have had a positive impact on the demand for business education and business knowledge from the developed and industrialized countries. As a result, many methods were developed to transfer know-how from the developed markets including learning through imitation, using western style pedagogical approaches, attending universities in industrialized countries, learning through experience and practice, and using information technology. Aside from chapters on the aforementioned topics, this book also provides country- and region-specific insight into China, Russia, India, Ukraine, Latin America, Brazil, Argentina, South Africa, Arab Middle East and North Africa, and Vietnam. The conclusion we reach is that business and management education in emerging markets is fast changing the way in which these markets operate and are perceived – business educators are

Excerpt: Gofio is the Canary Islands name for flour made from roasted grains (typically wheat or certain varieties of maize) or other starchy plants (e.g. beans and, historically, fern root), some varieties containing a little added salt. Gofio has been an important ingredient in Canary Islander cooking for some time, and Canary Islander emigrants have spread its use to the Caribbean (notably in Cuba, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and Venezuela) but generally in all of Latin America. In Chile and Argentina it is known as harina tostada and is employed in a wide variety of recipes . The gofio commercially available in the Canary Islands is always finely ground, like ordinary flour, despite the definition given in the Spanish Dictionary of the Royal Academy. Gofio is thought to be have been the main staple of the diet of the Guanches, the original inhabitants of the Canary Islands, who produced it from barley and the rhizome of certain ferns. The latter is also known to have been used in historical times, especially in famine, even up till the 20th century. “Gofio” derives from the name for the product in the aboriginal language of Gran Canaria, while in neighbouring Tenerife it was known as ahoren. Among the Berbers of North Africa, from whom the Guanche population largely derived, there existed a toasted barley flour with similar usage as a food, called arkul. Flours made from toasted grains are also known in other gastronomies worldwide, notably Tibetan Tsampa. Roasting the grain before milling has the advantage of destroying mold and mold toxins, allowing poorly stored grain to be used, as well as improving flavour by producing more complex sugars. The traditional roasting process, at temperatures typically much higher than those used for malt b… More:
