Few Bastard rich individuals monopolize the wealth of world population

Few Bastard rich individuals monopolize the wealth of world population

Have you noticed we are not all rich and wealthy? Seven billions of us minus three hundred individuals? Most of world population of the seven billions that breathe oxygen are adversely poor, poor, normally poor, less poor just on the border of survival, few middle strata, and rich bastards. The gap between rich and poor is extremely large and is widening every day in the world today. between individuals and states. Few rich tycoons suck the world’s blood. You are either rich or poor. Middle classes and strata are diminishing in favor of one or the other.

Three hundred inhuman Draculas monopolize the wealth of seven billions of humans. Three hundred wealthy billionaire bastards, like the Sultan of Brunei, King Saud, Sabah ruler in Kuwait, Karlos Slim Helo of Mexico, Bill Gates of US, Warren Buffet of US, Mukesh Ambani of India, Lakshmi Mittal of India, Lawrence Ellison of US, Bernard Arnalt of France, Eike batista of Brazil, Amanico Ortega of Spain, Kark Albrecht of Germany, Igvar Kampard of Sweden, Christy Walten of US, Stefan Persson of Sweden, Li Ka-Shing of Hong Kong, Jim Walten of US (wealth fork between 55-22 billions of US Dollars), not to forget the criminal Mafiosi Ben Ladden, to mention but a few. Poor things, they must feel sorry for the rest. What is left for the others, nothing, absolutely nothing. World population lives on the crumbles of rubbish. World populations in China, India, Bangladesh, Africa, Central America and 17% in the US live under the level of poverty, Latin America and in all the world humans are nothing but skeletons of humanity.

The rich bastards monopolize by theft the wealth and riches of the world, mourishing like cancerous parasites on the remains of humanity. These rich and wealthy bastards have made their fortunes by depriving world humanity of their rightful wealth, their rightful and legal bread and butter, their rightful and legal share in what God has provided for the whole world, the totality of mankind.

But only when these bastards are eliminated completely and dimolished once and for all and their wealth is taken away and distributed among their fellow humans in equity, creating jobs, care for the poor and the needy, hospitals and school, then and only,  justice is restored to its legitimate owners, the world population. For how these bastards amass their fortunes? It is by depriving the natural wealth that belongs to everyone.

These rich Draculas should be annihilated in one way or the other, the money hoarders of the wealth of humanity. They are the ones responsible for world famine, world poverty and world deprivation and the misery in every society.

There must be an international court that brings economic justice to its owner the peoples.

The twenty rich countries gather to give some saliva shit to the poor and needy in the world but the real problem is not this it is in the monopolization of wealth by individulas and states.

At this point in time in the new millennium, Toronto rock might as well be considered its own subgenre. The success of the Arts & Crafts label and the group Broken Social Scene (and artists like Feist, Amy Millan, and Kevin Drew) has cemented the sound and idea of the city in the minds of indie rock fans across North America, even the world. The second full-length by the Most Serene Republic only helps to confirm that this is no fluke. Sporting intricately laid instrumental parts, none of which stay consistent throughout an entire track, anthemic, sometimes obscured or impenetrable male and female vocals, and an aggressive rhythm section, Population is a record that refuses to sit and meditate upon one particular thing for too long, instead approaching a theme (both musical and lyrical) from as many different angles as possible — and never directly — as if in an effort to circumscribe an idea rather than defining it tidily. In “Present of Future End,” for example, dynamics rise and fall, guitars enter and exit, horns burst and fade away as singers Adrian Jewett and Emma Ditchburn trade off lines about the effects of technology on relationships. “When the talking involved mouth not hands,” Jewett reminisces, while Ditchburn counters later with the sweetly melodic, singsongy “Take my voice, please do what you want with it, chose like a mouse with click.” Clearly delineated verses and choruses are eschewed for rolling, sweeping phrases that, despite their occasional lack of focus, carry listeners along on the journey and are never boring. Even the instrumental selections here — the Brazilian jazz-influenced “A Mix of Sun and Cloud,” the pastoral opener “Humble Peasants,” and the dramatic Italian cinema-inspired “Agenbite of Inwit” — are engaging enough in their musical diversity that they just add to the overall ambiance of Population, that kind of caught-in-the-moment feeling you get when you realize the album’s already done and you don’t know where that time went. The kind of offering that proves the Most Serene Republic’s place in not only Toronto rock, but in indie rock itself. ~ Marisa Brown, Rovi Performers: Arnie Lenssen – Whistle; Brenna Spaderman – Cello; Joel Colesberry – Double Bass; Stephen Kabakos – Vocals (Background); Ira Zingraff – Trumpet; Men 2 Boys – Vocals; Michael Glendon – Saxophone

Global Conflicts – Latin America

Global Conflicts – Latin America

$29.95

Global Conflicts: Latin America (GC:LA) is a 3D– computer game designed to let players explore key problems in Latin American countries. The Latin American region is one of the most turbulent, violent, and poverty–striken places in the world, yet we rarely hear anything about the nations that struggle with the remnants of paramilitary rule, extreme poverty, and exploitation of the population. In a region where politicians and police are feared rather than trusted, desperation runs…

Black in Latin America

Black in Latin America

$27.99

Black in Latin America, a new four-part series about the influence of African descent on Latin America, is the latest production from renowned Harvard scholar Henry Louis Gates, Jr. The series examines how Africa and Europe came together to create the rich cultures of Latin America and the Caribbean. Latin America is often associated with music, monuments and sun, but each of the six countries featured in Black in Latin America including, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Cuba, Brazil, Mexico and Peru, has a secret history. On his journey, Professor Gates discovers, behind a shared legacy of colonialism and slavery, vivid stories and people marked by African roots. Latin America and the Caribbean have the largest concentration of people with African ancestry outside Africa — up to 70 percent of the population in some countries. The region imported more than ten times as many slaves as the United States, and kept them in bondage far longer. On this series of journeys, Professor Gates celebrates the massive influence of millions of people of African descent on the history and culture of Latin America and the Caribbean, and considers why and how their contribution is often forgotten or ignored.

The Riddle of Latin America, 1st Edition

$56.49

THE RIDDLE OF LATIN AMERICA explores the promise and paradox of Latin America in a novel way by giving equal weight to the colonial and national periods. This is essential because in Latin America colonialism started early and independence came late. The aim of this book is to provide unfamiliar readers with a more balanced, interpretive view of Latin America’s long and complex history by identifying key patterns and trends and tracing them across time and space. Within chapters THE RIDDLE OF LATIN AMERICA takes a regional rather than country-by-country approach, treating, for example, the Greater Caribbean, Mexico and Central America, the Andes, the Southern Cone, and Brazil.

Population: Declining

Population: Declining

$11.18

Making their debut with Population: Declining, Canadian hard rock bruisers Hail the Villain are bursting onto the scene with a mix of chest-thumping aggression and melody. With powerful, driving guitars and the vocal talent of singer Bryan Crouch, the band easily holds their own with current rock titans like Godsmack and Disturbed with a sound that is able to stand up to those bands while also being influenced by them. There’s an interesting interplay in the songs between the vocals and the guitars, with both feeling like they’re competing to be the biggest dog in the pen, pushing the guitars to be thicker and heavier while the vocals get soar higher and higher while becoming increasingly aggressive. Fortunately, the duel ends up being a win/win situation for the listener thanks to the crisp production from Darryl Romphf, who manages to keep the sound big without letting it get muddy. With this debut, Hail the Villain have given themselves a solid foothold in the rock world, and if you’re a fan of the current crop of hard rock bands, Population: Declining will surely draw you in with its dark lyrics, anthemic choruses and big breakdowns. ~ Gregory Heaney, Rovi Performers: Bryan Crouch – Vocals; Chad Taylor – Bass; Drew Dockrill – Drums; Joseph Stamp – Guitar

Population Control

Population Control

$13.58

Perhaps titled with a knowing wink to its rather cluttered guest list, Boston hip-hop DJ Statik Selektah’s fourth studio album, Population Control, features over 40 different singers, MCs, and DJs from the East Coast hip-hop scene, ranging from the established (Talib Kweli, Styles P, M.O.P.’s Lil’ Fame), to those barely out of short trousers (15-year-old Game Boi). It’s a testament to his production skills that despite the extensive array of collaborators, the follow-up to 2010′s 100 Proof: The Hangover is a surprisingly cohesive affair which cleverly avoids drifting into random mixtape territory. Indeed, the slightly menacing, radio-tuning, opening title track provides something of a red herring, as other than the aggressive hip-hop break down that interrupts “You’re Gone,” and the chaotic homage to DJ culture on closer “A DJ Saved My Life,” this is a predominantly chilled-out affair dominated by ’70s soul strings, breezy jazz horns, chopped-up melodic samples, and laid-back rhythms. While the sheer amount of material to wade through means it sometimes feels like a bit of a slog, there is enough invention on display to justify the marathon running time. With its smoky muted trumpets, plinky piano chords, and soulful chorus, “New York, New York” could possible challenge Jay-Z & Alicia Keys’ duet as the premier urban ode to the Big Apple; “Smoke On” merges a seductive bassline which could have been lifted from a Barry White record with languid beats and warm analog synths, while Nitty Scott MC and Rapsody more than compete with their male counterparts with the twinkling xylophones, scratched vinyl effects, and clattering percussion of the dreamy “Black Swan.” Elsewhere there are nods to ’80s synth pop (“Half Moon Part”), jazz-blues (Harlem Blues), reggae (“They Don’t Know”), and falsetto-led R&B (“Play the Game”), while the highlight appears courtesy of “Down,” a vintage slice of East Coast rap underpinned by a timeless gospel vocal sample and a simple, head-nodding military drum roll. Of course, Population Control could have been released at any point over the last 20 years, but while it’s not going to change the face of the hip-hop scene, it’s a classy and authentic old-school affair which effortlessly brings together two of its very different generations. ~ Jon O’Brien, Rovi Performers: Baby D – Vocals; Paul Thompson – Guitar; Sheila B – Vocals

Globalization and Democracy in Latin America.

Globalization and Democracy in Latin America.

$115.71

We live in an increasingly globalized and interconnected world which poses research questions about how globalization affects our societies. A particular question that has been of interest to researchers around the globe for its implications for political economy and public policy is the relationship between globalization and democracy. However, the studies that have been carried out related to this question have focused on the analysis of aggregate level data. Different measures of globalization have been used with no consensus yet on the effect of globalization on democracy. The main contribution of the present study is to utilize microlevel data from the Latinobarometro survey to understand the effect of globalization on individuals attitudes toward democracy in Latin America. For this purpose, this study utilizes multilevel analysis which takes into account the fact that individuals are nested into countries modeling the heterogeneity that exists among countries alongside individual variance in attitudes. Results from best fitting models of different specifications of globalization indicate that globalization as measured by an instrumental variable of trade has a positive and significant effect on satisfaction with democracy; however, other specifications of globalization i.e. foreign direct investment and capital flows do not. Further, interesting findings regarding economic, political and institutional factors are discussed. Author: Tello Rodriguez, Osvaldo S. A Golden State: Mining and Economic Development in Gold Rush California

A Golden State: Mining and Economic Development in Gold Rush California

$51.62

California’s storied Gold Rush triggered momentous changes not only for the state, but also for the nation and the world. The economic impact of that epoch-making event is the focus of the second volume of the California History Sesquicentennial Series. The chapter contributors offer a range of perspectives, including commentaries that reflect the new scholarship of environmental and resource history. Together, the essays and more than 90 illustrations show how the Gold Rush precipitated a veritable economic revolution whose effects continue to this day.Among the topics given a fresh interpretation are the relationship between technology and society; the environmental impact from mining and the sudden increase in California’s population; the influence of the Gold Rush on agriculture, manufacturing, banking, and transportation; and its impact on the peoples and economies of Latin America, Europe, and Asia. The popular image of the independent prospector is also examined anew, as is the role of different groups of industrial workers, including Chinese, Mexicans, and women. The Gold Rush was a multiplier, an event that accelerated a chain of interrelated consequences that in turn accelerated economic growth. But it also touched a deep-seated nerve in the human psyche and unleashed economic forces, for good or ill, that transformed California forever into a Golden State.

An Account of the Antiquities of the Indians

An Account of the Antiquities of the Indians

$18.95

Translated by Susan C. Griswold Foreword by Neil Whitehead With Columbus on his second voyage to the New World in 1494 was a young friar named Ramon Pane. The friar’s assignment was to live among the “Indians” whom Columbus had “discovered” on the island of Hispaniola and to learn their language and write a record of their lives and beliefs. The culture of these Indians is now extinct-the native population had all but disappeared by 1530-and the material remnants of their society have only in the last year been “rediscovered” at locations in Cuba and the Dominican Republic. The written record produced by Pane, however, has survived and is now, for the first time, being published in English as an independent text in its own right, complete with the latest anthropological research on these early people.Edited by the noted Hispanist Jose Juan Arrom, this current edition is the only surviving direct source of information about the myths, ceremonies, and lives of the New World inhabitants whom Columbus first encountered. Pane’s pioneering account contains many linguistic and cultural observations: descriptions of the Indians’ healing rituals and their beliefs about their souls after death. He provides the first known account of the use of tobacco and recounts the use of idols in ritual ceremonies. The names, functions, and attributes of native gods, the mythological origin of the aboriginal people’s attitudes toward sex and gender, and their rich stories of creation are described as well.Pane’s account of a culture rendered extinct by his own countrymen is not only unique, but valuable. With this new edition, his remarkable examination of an indigenous people will enlighten English-speaking students of history, Latin America, and anthropology.

Beyond Bogota: Diary of a Drug War Journalist in Colombia

Beyond Bogota: Diary of a Drug War Journalist in Colombia

$15.95

Independent journalist Garry Leech has spent the last eight years working in the most remote and dangerous regions of Colombia, uncovering the unofficial stories of people living in conflict zones. Beyond Bogotá is framed around the eleven hours that Leech was held captive by the FARC, Colombia’s largest leftist guerrilla group, in August of 2006. He recalls nearly thirty years of travel and work in Latin America while weaving in a historical context of the region and on-the-ground reporting with each passing hour of his detention.More than $5 billion in U.S. aid over the past seven years has failed to end Colombia’s civil conflict or reduce cocaine production. Leech finds that ordinary Colombians, not drug lords, have suffered the most and that peasants and indigenous peoples have been caught in the crossfire between the armed groups. Meanwhile, more than thirty Colombian journalists have been murdered over the last three decades, making Colombia one of the most dangerous countries in which to practice journalism. Consequently, the majority of the Western media rarely leave Bogotá to find the real story. Leech, however, learns the truth about the conflict and the U.S. war on drugs directly from the source: poor coca farmers whose fields and food crops have been sprayed with toxic aerial fumigations, female FARC guerrillas who see armed struggle as their only option, union organizers whose lives are threatened because they defend workers’ rights, indigenous peoples whose communities have been forcibly displaced by the violence, and many others. Leech also investigates the presence of multinational oil and mining companies in Colombia by gaining access to army bases where U.S. soldiers train Colombian troops to fight the guerrillas in resource-rich regions and by visiting local villages to learn what the foreign presence has meant for the vast majority of the population. Drawing on unprecedented access to soldiers, guerrillas,

Beyond the City: The Rural Contribution to Development

Beyond the City: The Rural Contribution to Development

$28

In Latin American and Caribbean history, rural societies have been at the center of both the origins of prosperity and of social upheaval. Rural communities have access to a wealth of natural resources, including arable land and forests, yet they face the highest poverty rates within countries. Characterized by low population densities and located far from the major urban centers, rural communities must overcome severe restrictions in their access to public services and private markets, even in some countries where public expenditures per inhabitant are higher in rural than in urban communities.’Beyond the City’ evaluates the contribution of rural development and policies to growth, poverty alleviation, and environmental degradation in the rest of the economy, as well as in the rural space. This title brings together new theoretical and empirical treatments of the links between rural and national development. New findings and are combined with existing literature to enhance our understanding of the how rural economic activities contribute to various aspects of national development. The study is based on original research funded by the World Bank’s Office of the Chief Economist for Latin America and the Caribbean. Of particular relevance is the interaction between agricultural and territorial development issues. The empirical findings also make substantial contributions to the debate over the appropriate design of public policies aiming to enhance the rural contribution to national development, including economic growth, poverty reduction, environmental sustainability, and macroeconomic stability.

Business Education In Emerging Market Economies

Business Education In Emerging Market Economies

$119

Business Education in Emerging Market Economies discusses the impact of business education on emerging markets and explores curricular innovation, pedagogical approaches, and strategic alliances in the context of industrializing economies. Emerging markets consist of eighty percent of the world’s population and some 75% of its trade growth in the foreseeable future according to the U.S. Department of Commerce. The potential economic growth of emerging markets has prompted a need to understand the dynamics of these markets, their business institutions, and their educational systems. Many universities in the United States of America, for example, have responded to the demand of their students and business constituents to educate them about these exciting opportunities and lurking threats in these industrializing economies. This book contains multiple chapters describing curricular innovations and course development designed to educate American students about emerging markets. The pressures of globalization and the recent economic reforms that swept across emerging, developing, and transitioning, economies have had a positive impact on the demand for business education and business knowledge from the developed and industrialized countries. As a result, many methods were developed to transfer know-how from the developed markets including learning through imitation, using western style pedagogical approaches, attending universities in industrialized countries, learning through experience and practice, and using information technology. Aside from chapters on the aforementioned topics, this book also provides country- and region-specific insight into China, Russia, India, Ukraine, Latin America, Brazil, Argentina, South Africa, Arab Middle East and North Africa, and Vietnam. The conclusion we reach is that business and management education in emerging markets is fast changing the way in which these markets operate and are perceived – business educators are
