Are the world current events (i.e. iran, palenstine, iraq, Latin America) suggestive of another world war?

I have asked myself this question many times. You should also add to that list China, Rusia, and India. I truelly beleive that there will be a major war in the not-too-far future. It is no mystery why China is obtaining oil from every country it can that the USA considers it’s enemy’s. Or that China and Rusia, once bitter enemys, have started forming strong military alliances. Other areas in the world are only waiting for an opening to start hostilities, Including several countrys in Africa and several former USSR block states. However, if there is another World War, the taking of Taiwan by China will start it, but the fighting will be over energy, not ideals.
